Biography
Andrew Davidson graduated in medicine from University of Melbourne, Australia. He has trained in anaesthesia in the UK, Australia, Rotterdam in The Netherlands and Boston in the USA. He has received a diploma of biostatistics and Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from University of Melbourne.
He is a member of the Clinical Trials Group for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, chair of the SPANZA research sub committee, section editor for the journal Pediatric Anesthesia, editorial consultant for Anesthesia and Analgesia and recently elected an Associate Editor for Anesthesiology.
He has received 14 competitive research grants since 2000 including over 1.2 million dollars form the NH&MRC and a career fellowship grant from Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
